My wife walks home from work in the dark and gets home to the cold house and she lays down in the bed for a while.
She eats dinner alone at the mall and spills black beans on the second-hand skirt she got in the mail from her mom.
And my cardinal is blue. She's not in the mood for numbers and I'm not in the mood for games, but my cardinal is blue.
I see her standing at the bottom of the drive at the top of the street with a happy look in her eyes and it makes me want to leap from the car then and there.
